Banquet

- With digestif & guide tour at Kodai-ji Zen temple
The banquet will be held at the SODOH Higashiyama restaurant, located at the center of Higashiyama area, the most popular tourist spot. The whole house served once as an atelier for Japanese painter, Seiho Takeuchi. The site is surrounded by many historical temples and shrines;
- Kiyomzu temple, one of the world heritage sites
- Kodai-ji temple, Zen temple established in 1605 by the legendary Nene
- Yasaka Shrine, Grand Head Shrine of about 2300 Yasaka-jinja shrines, established in 656
Take a city bus No.206 for the Kyoto station from the conference site, and get off at Gion or Higashiyama Yasui bus stops. It is best tourist route to get off at the Gion bus stop and take a 10 minutes' walk to the SODOH.
After dinner, digestif will be served at a beautiful garden of Kodai-ji temple as a special night guided tour. Kodai-ji is just across from the SODOH.
